What it does
Previously indexed GitHub repository content into your knowledge base for code search in chat.
Current status
GitHub indexing is deprecated. New indexing runs are no longer supported. Existing connectors remain visible for reference, but new connections cannot be added.
What to use instead
Import files directly through Documents → Import or upload them to your workspace. Use Notes for short-form content. Native connectors and live external connectors (Slack, Notion, Airtable, and others) cover active data sources.
If you have legacy GitHub-indexed documents in your workspace, you can still ask about that indexed content in Chat until you remove the connector.
