Let the AINexLayer agent browse your Airtable bases, tables, and records
What it does
Connects AINexLayer to your Airtable account so the agent can list bases, browse tables, and read records — in real time, when you ask in chat.
Nothing is copied into AINexLayer in the background. The agent queries Airtable live each time you send a message that needs it.
How it works
Airtable is an external connector. You connect once through the Connectors dialog. It does not appear in API Playground — that area is for native scrapers only.
After connecting, open Chat and ask about records in a base or table. The agent reads your data and returns what it finds.
Connect
- Open Connectors in your workspace
- Choose Airtable
- Click Connect and approve access
- Confirm the connector shows as active on the Active tab
Use in chat
Open Chat, type @, and pick Airtable from the mention list. Then ask your question.
The @ tag tells the agent to read Airtable. Without it, a normal question may not use the connector.
Name the base or table, and optionally filter by status, date, or owner. Start with one table and a small row set before querying an entire base.
