Core Features
Workspace Management
Create, switch, and configure AINexLayer workspaces
Workspaces keep documents, chats, connectors, and model settings separated by project or team.
Create a workspace
- From the left workspace rail, click +.
- Or, if you have no workspaces yet, use Create your first workspace on the dashboard.
- Name the workspace and confirm.
New workspaces open on New chat.
Switch workspaces
Click a workspace avatar/icon in the left rail. Each opens at that workspace’s chat home. Settings and delete/leave actions are available from the rail controls for that workspace.
Workspace settings
Open Workspace settings for the active workspace. Typical areas include:
| Area | What it controls |
|---|---|
| General | Workspace identity and basics |
| Models | Provider connections and default model roles |
| Team / roles | Who can access the workspace |
| System instructions | Standing guidance for the agent |
| Public links / Embed | Sharing and embed options |
Personal preferences (profile, appearance, API keys, agent permissions, messaging channels) live under User settings, which is separate from workspace models.
Tips
- One workspace per product, client, or department topic reduces noisy retrieval.
- Invite teammates only to workspaces they need.
- Set system instructions for stable tone and policy (for example “always cite sources”).
- Review Models after adding a new LLM provider connection.
