Quick Start Guide

This guide walks you through your first session in AINexLayer.

1. Sign in

1. Open the AINexLayer app and go to Login.
2. Sign in with Google (the main option on the login page).
3. Or, if you have an app password set on your account, sign in below with your email and app password.
4. You are taken to your dashboard. If you already have a workspace, AINexLayer opens it on a new chat.

2. Create or open a workspace

• No workspace yet — choose Create your first workspace, give it a name, and continue.
• Already have workspaces — use the workspace icons on the left rail to switch, or + to add another.

Each workspace has its own documents, chats, connectors, and model settings.

3. Upload a document

1. Open the Library panel (Documents) in the sidebar.
2. Click Upload Files, or use + in the chat composer and choose Upload Files.
3. Select a PDF, Word doc, text file, or other supported format.
4. Wait until processing finishes. The file appears in your document tree when it is ready for chat.

4. Start chatting

1. Open New chat (or stay on the chat that opened after login).
2. Ask a question about your document, for example: Summarize the main points in this file.
3. Optional: type @ and pick a file so the agent focuses on that document.
4. Read the answer and open any citations to see which sources were used.

5. Connect a tool (optional)

1. Open Connectors in the workspace sidebar.
2. Connect a service (for example Slack or Google), or explore native scrapers such as Google Search or Web Crawl.
3. In chat, type @ and mention the connector when you want the agent to use it.
