Connectors
Connect AINexLayer to your tools and services
Connectors bring data into AINexLayer. There are two kinds:
Native Connectors
Built-in scrapers for Reddit, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Google Maps, Google Search, Indeed, Amazon, Walmart, and Web Crawl
External Connectors
Third-party integrations: Google, Slack, Airtable, Obsidian, Circleback, and more
How they work
Native connectors pull public data from platforms like Reddit, YouTube, or Amazon. Use them in Chat (the agent runs them automatically) or in API Playground (run them yourself and inspect the output).
External connectors link your accounts — Slack, Airtable, Google Gmail/Calendar, and others. Connect once in the Connectors dialog, then ask about that service in Chat. The agent queries it live; nothing is copied in the background.
File imports (Google Drive, OneDrive, Dropbox) work differently: open Documents → Import, pick files, and they are indexed into your knowledge base. Ask about imported files in chat after indexing finishes.
Managing connections
Open the Connectors dialog inside your workspace to connect accounts, check status, reconnect expired tokens, or disconnect.
Deprecated connectors
Some older connectors (Discord, Microsoft Teams, Luma, Elasticsearch, GitHub indexing, BookStack indexing, and the old web crawler) are retired. Existing connections remain visible, but new ones cannot be added. Public web search and crawling are now built in as native scrapers.
